Why this website and newsletter?
During the last two years – since the beginning of the financial meltdown – there have been no resources that provide accurate, easy-to-read information about the economy and how we, as a community, can help each other to survive this long recession.
The economy is not recovering and the media, until recently, has been painting a rosy picture. They never give accurate stats, and they never talk about the root causes (outsourcing, offshoring, and “free trade”), or the real unemployment rate (more than 20%!).
The stress of the recession also takes a personal toll in our health, unless we know what to do to alleviate the stress and bolster our immune systems.
Community Alert and Bulletin is a national/community resource that tells the truth about what is really happening and what we can do about it, personally, as a community, and as a nation, while maintaining our health. It is easy to read. Each article may contain:
